Soc Portable Enail Electric Dab Rig

#1: Portable Soc Enail Dab Rig [$66]

The Soc enail the best cheap electric dab rig. It is made by Vnice Technology based out of Shenzhen, China. It is the best if you manage to get your hands on a solid device, that is. We have a lot of people that have encountered hiccups with theirs and found the build quality to be rather inconsistent and have a shorter life span than others devices. It was small and portable, but the glass looks a bit odd and doesn’t deliver the greatest airflow, nor does the carb cap help in that regard.

If you do manage to be one of the lucky ones you’re in for a real treat since this device is an extreme bargain for the price. The Soc enail has four heat settings with temperatures ranging from 450–600°F (232.22–315.55°C). This is the optimal range for being able to achieve both low and high temp dabs that suit your preference. The battery on it is also incredible when factoring in the price. With 2600 mAh of power this battery is more than what we’ve seen in Puffco’s Peak and other name brands. All around a solid option that delivers alright performance with an affordable price.

Dabcool W2 Cheap E-rig

#2: Exseed Dabcool W2 [$58]

The Dabcool W2 isn’t the best device and we honestly just included it to let you know your options. This device has a 1500 mAh battery, which is 100 mAh more than the Puffco Peak, but it still isn’t the best. Another interesting quirk is the weird shape that causes it to be top heavy and prone to tipping over, but it is handheld so that’s neat! Surprisingly this device does have LED lighting which uses higher quality LED’s than even the Peak or Dr Dabber which lets you know where the priorities were! If you want a cheap device that looks cool and has some unique features we’d recommend this, but if you wanted performance and value with a cheap price tag we recommend the Soc.

Affordable Electronic Dab Rigs Under $200

Smokeski Electronic Dab Rig

#3: Smokeski Electric Dab Rig [$199]

The Smokeski won our pick for the best electric dab rig of 2021. It came down to a neck and neck battle for who would win first, but ultimately the Smokeski got a perfect score from the Smoke Tech review team. We found that this device met and exceeded most of our weighted decision reasons. It had gotten a perfect score in portability, performance, build quality, and ultimately the deciding variable: value. This smart rig packed a punch, without needing the bulk, or the insane price tag.

We should start off looking at the hardware specs. The Smokeski’s battery is 3000 mAh, the glass is borosilicate and 3mm thick, and the body is made entirely of an aluminium alloy. This device is extremely durable we even accidentally dropped it glass first onto carpet during our testing and it survived without a scratch. All of this is impressive for an affordable electric dab rig that only costs $200. What is more impressive is that the battery size is more than DOUBLE the size of the original Puffco Peak.

The Smokeski is a sleek and portable device. It comes with a travel dab rig case kit that lets you bring your dab rig on the go. There are 2 main buckets that come with the rig, including a Silicon Carbide (SiC) bucket. Silicon Carbide is the latest trend that is up to 80x more conductive than Quartz, thermal shock resistant, has no off-gassing, a melting point of 5000°F, and doesn’t ‘chazz’. We basically call it ‘the wonder bucket’. The device is also extremely easy to use as everything is controlled through a single button. Cleaning the Smokeski e-rig is also a breeze. Since the device is fully modular, you can take it apart, clean every nook, and cranny before reassembling with ease.

G Pen Connect Electric Dab Rig Conversion Adapter

#4: G Pen Connect [$175]

The G Pen Connect is the perfect device for those that want to electrify their “old school” dab rigs. It isn’t perfect though and does have some problems. For instance the highest temperature on this device runs a bit too hot which is odd since the products has been out so long. The carb cap also gets excessively hot during a session and needs a while to cool down between uses.

It also isn’t the best device though in terms of specs. The battery is only 800 mAh which is 2–3x less than some of the $65 Wish.com e-rig we covered in this article. That really doesn’t make it portable and since you need to have your own rig it also hurts the portability since most people don’t have a carrying case for their everyday glassware. It is still a good option for those that want to use their original glass piece to dab without a torch at home.

XVape Vista Mini 2 Smart Rig

#5: XVAPE Vista Mini 2 [$140]

The XVape Vista Mini 2 is manufactured by XVape a manufacturer based in Shenzhen, China. The device is one of the decent cheap options on the market if you’re looking to get an affordable beginner portable dab rig. It is one of the smallest options on the market, almost as small as a Mighty dry herb vaporizer, coming in at 5.49″ (139.44 mm) x 1.86″ (47.24 mm) and weighing 10.58 oz (300 g).

The Mini 2 really is an oddball of an e-rig boasting wireless charging, which is something only Puffco managed to include. The battery does fall a bit short though compared to its peers, but considering its unique price point it does provide a lot of value for the price. It is also somewhat limited to higher temperature dabs with pre-set temperatures ranging from 536° to 752°F (280–400°C).

However we are uncertain if the build quality of ours was off or if this is the norm, but we had some problems. For starters the atomizer, which is non replaceable, was leaking wax that was loaded into it. There also wasn’t very good water filtration or carb cap suction which made for harsh hits at the higher temperatures this rig puts out.
